Confirmed! WordCamp is coming to Nairobi

We’re happy to announce that WordCamp Nairobi is officially on the calendar! WordCamp Nairobi will be on 1st and 2nd December at PAWA 254 located along State House Crescent Road in Nairobi.

WordCamp Nairobi will be a casual conference covering everything related to WordPress, the free and open source publishing software that powers more than 25% of the internet. By the end of the Two-day event, we hope to have built a stronger community of WordPress users in Nairobi and around.

Drop us a comment or two if you have any questions. Or better yet, come join us at next month’s WordPress Meetup meeting. It’s a great crew of some pro and not-so-pro folks. Everyone is friendly and ready to share thoughts, tips and questions about WordPress.

And be sure to subscribe to the email updates for WordCamp Nairobi so you can stay up to date on the most recent news. We’ll be keeping you posted on all the details over the coming days, including speaker submissions, ticket sales and more!

Call for Sponsors

Why sponsor WordCamp Nairobi?

WordCamps are community-organized events that bring together WordPress users of all skill levels. The very low ticket price allows novice users to site next to and learn from and with some of the most advanced WordPress developers around the country.

A majority of the funding comes from business and local volunteers. Sponsoring a Word Camp is a great way to expose your brand to the WordPress community. People attend Word Camps meet, interact and learn more as they look for new opportunities and you should take part in that.

WordCamp Nairobi will be a two-day event that will be held on the 1st and 2nd December in which you will get to meet important people in the WordPress industry and even future employees. Word Camps are events that are authorized by the WordPress foundation. We follow the codes of conduct for the quality of the event. As such, the more sponsors we get, the bigger the event will be.
